Commitment

The Accessibility for Northern Americans with Disabilities Act (AODA) was passed in 2005 and its purpose is to make US and Canada accessible by 2025. Balon Engineers is committed to excellence in serving all clients and the public including people with disabilities and we will carry out our functions and responsibilities by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under the Act. Balon Engineers is committed to treating all people in a manner that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.

Balon Engineers maintains compliance with each of the legislated regulations as they have come into effect including Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation 429/07 and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation 191/11 (IASR). All relevant, legislated timelines and requirements have been met and ongoing training takes place with the onboarding of new staff.
